Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation

Schedule

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Requirements
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Current driver's license with reliable transportation and insurance
- 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Previous home care experience (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an approved program

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and appropriateness for therapy.
- Document and complete patient care plans, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation.
- Plan and provide treatment for various disorders based on medical referrals and assessments.
- Instruct patients and families on safe transfer techniques and use of therapeutic equipment.
- Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic procedures tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Must meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
- Prolonged standing and walking may be required.
- Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities.
