Shift & Schedule: Day/Night Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes
Pay Rate: $77 – $81/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide direct nursing care to adult patients, perform emergency assessments, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
Required Qualifications
Active RN License.
Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience.
IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Experience with conscious sedation.
Experience caring for adult patients in an emergency-care setting.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult Emergency Room patients.
Perform patient assessments, triage, monitoring, and emergency interventions.
Initiate IV access and perform phlebotomy as required.
Assist with conscious sedation procedures and monitor patients closely.
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.
Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment.
