Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Occupational Therapist to provide quality rehabilitation services during temporary assignments in various healthcare settings. The OT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, improve functional independence, and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and function.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and adaptive techniques.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient progress.
• Adapt to different facilities, workflows, patient populations, and care environments.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification preferred or required as applicable.
• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation, rehabilitation, ADLs, and treatment techniques.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
