Senior Accounting Manager

Support the Finance Infrastructure Behind a High-Growth, Project-Driven Business Keystone is partnering with a rapidly scaling immersive technology and systems integration company seeking a Controller who wants visibility, ownership, and a clear path toward future leadership. This organization is growing approximately 45 percent year-over-year and is investing intentionally in scalable accounting infrastructure, disciplined accrual reporting, and strong internal controls to support its next phase of expansion. This role is 100 percent in-office in Burbank. What You Will Own You will operate in a full accrual, U.S. GAAP environment and serve as a key financial partner across accounting, operations, and leadership. Core Responsibilities Own the full month-end close process, including timeline management, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry review, and accurate financial statement preparation Ensure revenue and expense recognition are properly recorded under U.S. GAAP within a disciplined accrual accounting framework Prepare and present monthly reporting packages including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPIs with clear variance and trend analysis for leadership Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with detailed job cost tracking and margin analysis Partner closely with project managers and operations leaders to monitor project performance, support revenue recognition, and identify financial risks and opportunities Prepare and analyze WIP schedules and job cost reports, collaborating cross-functionally to improve project profitability Support treasury management including cash forecasting, payables timing, collections oversight, and working capital management Establish, document, and improve internal controls and accounting policies to support scalability and audit readiness Drive process improvements, system optimization, and technology adoption to increase financial clarity and operational efficiency What We Are Looking For Active CPA license Big 4 or comparable public accounting experience 8 to 12 years of progressive accounting experience Demonstrated hands-on experience operating within a full accrual accounting environment Experience in construction, manufacturing, systems integration, or other project-based industries Strong command of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition guidance Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with QuickBooks or comparable accounting systems Strong analytical mindset and ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership Why This Role High visibility within executive leadership Clear development path toward expanded accounting leadership Exposure to a complex, job-cost-driven business model Opportunity to help architect scalable financial infrastructure during rapid growth About Keystone Keystone partners with growing and complex organizations to strengthen their finance and accounting functions at critical inflection points.
