Job Title Business Operations Analyst Department Health System Shared Services | Supply Chain Logistics Job Description The Business Operations Analyst uses planning and hospital-based clinic management expertise to provide departmental operations support, including project/program management oversight, resource planning and development, procurement, organization, process improvement, standardization initiatives, policy development, and completion of special projects for inpatient, critical care, and clinical spaces. This position supports OSU missions and values by coordinating and providing an exceptional level of operational principles and analytical processes. Responsibilities Project and program management oversight Resource planning and development Procurement Organization of departmental functions Process improvement initiatives Standardization initiatives Policy development Completion of special projects for inpatient, critical care, and clinical spaces Develop, monitor, and evaluate equipment requirements, protocols, and plans to accommodate patient volumes and enhance clinic workflow Assist with physician productivity and provide reports on clinic utilization and efficiency to leadership Maintain good working relationships and contacts with Division Administrators, physicians, MIM staff, facilities staff, vendors, IT staff, and other departments Assume responsibilities for special projects including maintenance, concerns, and activities to ensure ongoing safe and efficient hospital operations Serve as liaison between all parties involved with materials, equipment, and facilities operations and clinical/non-clinical staff Develop action plans designed to improve clinical, functional, and patient satisfaction outcomes Monitor compliance Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus two years of supply chain experience—preferably in a hospital setting.
