Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Rehabilitation Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies that facilitate the achievement of their functional objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to help enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate within Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care.
- Guide and Educate: Instruct patients and their families on therapy methods to empower them in fostering continued progress outside the clinical setting.
- Document and Evaluate Progress: Track treatment outcomes meticulously, making necessary adjustments to ensure patients meet their rehabilitation goals.
- An accredited degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development, with opportunities for certifications strongly encouraged.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential is required.
