Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 5x8.0

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes providing high-quality therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective patient recovery, and serving as an educator for patients, families, colleagues, and students. The therapist is accountable for maintaining compliance with organizational guidelines and upholding professional standards.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care clearly, concisely, and accurately in a timely manner.
• Ensure care is delivered according to valid physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in the student program by providing supervision and feedback.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
• Adhere to ethical practices and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives within the organization.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for Physical Therapy.
• Previous experience with the agency is highly desired.
• Previous assignment with Select Medical is a plus.
