About the Position

Shift Notes: Days: 4x12 hr shifts, 48 hrs, can offer 36s; holiday rotation; required to float to all campuses; IMMC, ILH, MWH within pertinent skillset/Unit they are contracted for; No Call, every 4th weekend, Holiday rotation

Requirements

Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

• 24 months minimum of experience in Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience [required]
• Experience with the following patient populations: ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) & Pacemaker [ required ]
• Experience caring for CABG (coronary arterial bypass grafting) & vascular surgical patients [ required [
• No 1st time travelers accepted -- must have completed at least '1' travel contract within the previous 18 months
• Cardiac Rhythm experience [required] 
• EPIC emr experience [required]
• Equipment experience:  Alaris IV pump, wound vac[ required]
• Cardiac Drip/titration experience [required]
• Level I Trauma experience [highly preferred]
• Level II trauma experience [required]
• Driver’s License [document] [required]
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS – [required]
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS – [required]
• Iowa/Compact Allowed
