Job Description & Requirements Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Olympia Field, Illinois. Located in a medical facility environment, this full-time position involves providing exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the cardiovascular laboratory setting. The role includes supporting high-quality outcomes during cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, collaborating closely with physicians, and ensuring smooth workflow within the Cath Lab team. Job Details Schedule: Days, 0800-1630, with call rotation required every 2-3rd weekend, 1-3 days per week Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; current Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintained current; at least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care environment. Provide support for cardiovascular procedures, including room preparation, equipment calibration, supply management, and physiologic data monitoring. Monitor patient condition during procedures, document thoroughly, and support quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with physicians to communicate patient status, ensuring safety and comfort. Maintain all required certifications and licensure throughout employment. Preferred Qualifications: Not specified Float: Float rotation may be required.
