Step into a vital support role providing meaningful assistance to students across all grade levels in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers an immediate start and the chance to make a direct impact, supporting students with a diverse range of needs—from those in resource and self-contained classrooms, to 1:1 placements that may involve cognitive or emotional impairments. The ideal candidate will have flexibility in their role, adapting to different caseload types and being willing to assist students with personal care tasks, akin to those of a health aide professional. The work schedule is full-time, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with possible hours between 7:15am-3:15pm or 8:15am-4:15pm based on building assignment.

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 60 semester hours of college credit (official university transcripts required)or:
• Earned an associate degree or higher,or:
• Achieved at least a 460 on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment,or:
• Scored at least 480 in evidence-based reading/writing and 530 in math on the SAT
• Experience or interest in supporting students in both mild-moderate and severe needs settings
• Comfort with personal care tasks (such as diapering and toileting) for students with cognitive impairments
• Flexibility regarding classroom assignment and caseload
