As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:General Repairs: Perform maintenance tasks involving carpentry, painting, electrical work, masonry, and plumbingSystem Monitoring: Check building systems such as HVAC, alarms, generators, and automated controlsFacility Upkeep: Maintain clean, safe, and functional interior and exterior areasEquipment Operation: Use and maintain tools and machinery needed for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds workContractor Coordination: Assist with vendor communication and monitor contracted repair workSafety Compliance: Follow safety rules and report hazards or incidents to supervisorsInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Required Experience, Training & EligibilityQualificationsMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFour years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Special Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Additional Requirements:You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports.
