  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

  • Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating quick, effective, and compassionate responses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly focuses on patients dealing with trauma-related issues, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong ability to foster trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds and experiences.

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
