Lead Cook
We're seeking a Full-Time Lead Cook to oversee daily meal preparation and help lead our kitchen team at the DeKalb County Jail in Auburn, Indiana.

Stable Schedule

Your Responsibilities
As a Lead Cook, you'll help ensure our kitchen operates efficiently by:
- Supervising and assisting with daily food preparation
- Preparing, cooking, and baking meals according to company standards
- Training and supporting kitchen team members
- Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Assisting with kitchen clean-up and organization
- Helping deliver consistent meal service every day
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain facility security clearance
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Previous food service experience is helpful-but we're happy to train motivated individuals with the right attitude and work ethic.
