You mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow’s solutions architects.Work with us and build the future of technology in Naval infrastructure for the better.What You’ll Work On: Lead the design, development, and integration of ashore and afloat network and cloud-agnostic system architectures to meet operational objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless system performance.Conduct system assessments, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements for optimal performance.Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and reports for stakeholders.Lead the design of architectures for Windows Server–based enterprise IT systems and management tools.Collaborate with systems and network engineering teams to assess current-state environments and identify migration dependencies.Develop detailed workload migration plans, including timelines, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.Work closely with technical and program managers to ensure alignment of architecture plans with broader project goals and timelines.Provide guidance and oversight during implementation phases to ensure architectural compliance.Scale delivery of modern systems engineering best practices, including digital engineering, automation, and orchestration across both systems and network solutions.Scale delivery of modern systems engineering best practices, including Digital Engineering, Automation, and Orchestration across both systems and network solutions.  Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have:5+ years of experience with enterprise systems engineering, development or maintenanceExperience with Red Hat or Microsoft enterprise technologies, virtualization platforms, or hybrid cloud servicesExperience with Architecture, design, or implementation of secure AWS or Azure cloud environmentsKnowledge of SAN, HCI, and backup or DR architecturesKnowledge of Voice, Video and IP-based communications systems Ability to support deployable or tactical IT environments, and with DoD cybersecurity compliance, including RMF or STIGsAbility to develop and maintain infrastructure using infrastructure as cod (IaC) principlesSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeAbility to obtain a DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNASecurity, GSEC, or SSCP Certification within 30 days of start dateNice If You Have:Experience applying core systems engineering concepts, processes, practices, and procedures in technical assignmentsExperience across enterprise-level platforms encompassing servers, storage, networking, software, and application services or equivalent depth within a single technical domainExperience collaborating and coordinating with senior-level stakeholders and organizational leadersKnowledge of RF and SATCOM communication networks Ability to mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and technical excellencePossession of excellent collaboration and communication skillsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldAdvanced Cybersecurity Certification such as CASP+ or CISSP CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
