Speech Language Pathologist

Company Description Kingwood Speech Pathology Services (KSPS) is a comprehensive private practice offering both speech and occupational therapy services. The practice is therapist-owned and operated, providing a collaborative and clinically driven environment. KSPS primarily serves pediatric clients, while also supporting adults with a wide range of diagnoses and communication needs. The team is dedicated to delivering individualized, evidence-based care that promotes functional communication and independence for clients and their families. Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for clients with speech, language, and communication disorders in an outpatient private practice setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with families, caregivers, and other therapists to support client goals. The role involves direct therapy services for primarily pediatric clients and (if interested) adults, participation in team meetings, and ongoing professional development. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the northeast Houston area. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Speech Therapy and treatment of Speech and Communication Disorders. Experience assessing and treating Language Disorders across pediatric and adult populations. Knowledge and clinical competence in managing Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred. Experience in pediatric outpatient or private practice settings is highly beneficial. Effective interpersonal, documentation, and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
