Executive Director About the Company Esteemed national organization advancing clinical pharmacy practice, research & education Industry Pharmaceuticals Type Non Profit Founded 1979 Employees 11-50 Specialties clinical pharmacy education networking and advocacy About the Role The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its professional society, which is dedicated to advancing clinical pharmacy, improving human health, and optimizing pharmacotherapy through practice, research, and education. The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader with a strong background in scientific and clinical excellence, and a proven track record in organizational leadership. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include overseeing all communications, ensuring that the society's activities align with its mission and values, and leading a high-performing staff across various functional areas. The role also involves fostering external relationships with professional societies, healthcare organizations, industry, academic institutions, and government entities, as well as serving as a liaison for advocacy and policy initiatives. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have experience in a senior-level role within a similar organization, a strong background in strategic planning, financial management, and organizational leadership, and a deep understanding of the mission of the society.
