Work Environment This position is based in Monroe, New York, and involves delivering care directly to patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical function and orthopedic conditions. Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on individual patient goals, needs, and clinical evidence. Applying various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and recovery. Providing ongoing patient education concerning injury prevention, rehabilitation protocols, and lifestyle modification strategies. Monitoring and documenting progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to plans based on patient response and outcomes. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal recovery trajectories. Keeping abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques, integrating new knowledge into patient care protocols as appropriate. Patient Population / Client Focus As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at BodySync PT, you will primarily work with patients suffering from various orthopedic injuries, including postoperative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our clientele consists of diverse individuals, from young athletes to seniors, requiring personalized therapy interventions to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your ability to connect with patients, understand their unique circumstances, and motivate them throughout their recovery journey will be key to their success. Qualifications A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York is required. An accredited Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with advanced qualifications such as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree preferred. At least two years of experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic or home care setting, with preference given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to manage complex cases. Proven proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, functional assessments, and evidence-based treatment modalities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and support patients and collaborate with team members. Preferred Experience Experience working in a home care environment or with specialty conditions such as spine disorders or chronic pain management is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous, as it enables efficient documentation and tracking of patient progress. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
