Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Ohio physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• Must not be a new graduate. First-time travelers are acceptable.
• Experience treating orthopedic and sports medicine patient populations preferred.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week, seeing 12–14 patients per day, with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
• Willingness to float to other clinics as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine clinic experience.
• Experience with productivity targets and efficient scheduling including double-booking.
• Authorization from clinical director required before working overtime hours.

Assignment Details

• Primary Rate Type: 8hr day schedule.
• 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours.
• OT must be approved by director before any OT hours are worked.
• Float to other clinics as needed.
