CT Technologist

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). This position involves providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures such as CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Assist with biopsy and drainage procedures as required.
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and the use of contrast media.
• Understand cross-sectional anatomy and ensure compliance with departmental protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT (CT) certification is required.
• Licensure as a general radiographer by the state is mandatory.
