Transportation Engineer

Wilson & Company’s Omaha, NE office is seeking a Roadway professional with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates.Roles and Responsibilities:Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Open Roads DesignerLead and manage tasks on projects of various sizesWork with experienced designers and project managers as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projectsPrimarily working on projects in [State of Office Location] with opportunities to support regional projectsEfficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.Preferred Experience:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.Nebraska Professional Engineer licensed or the ability to obtain within 6 months.4 - 7 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.A background in traffic engineering design and H&H design can be helpful in this roleExperience in CADD utilizing Open Roads DesignerAnnual Salary range: $79,000 - $135,000Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.About Us:For nearly a century, Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, has provided award-winning engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management services.
