Member Team Lead

Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service techniques. Ensures member complaints and issues are resolved per company guidelines and policies, supports the Open Door Policy, and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Responsibilities Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs and benefits to current and prospective members, processing memberships, upgrades and credit accounts, encouraging renewals, and participating in sales and marketing events. Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, providing guidance with self‑service technology, and handling transactions using registers or self‑checkout. Oversee the assigned area by handling claims and returns, zoning, merchandising, identifying shrink and damage, managing merchandise availability, arranging carts, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Complete accounting records, file transactions, prepare daily deposits, and oversee cash fund transfers while investigating cash overages and shortages. Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities. Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics and the Open Door Policy, and assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, coordinating work assignments, providing advice and feedback, and modeling adaptability to change. Demonstrate respect for individuals by embracing differences, building teamwork, communicating with impact, and mentoring others. Additional compensation: premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or work performed. Salary Hourly wage range: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour. Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Minimum Qualifications 6 months retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register, AND 6 months customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Front‑end team leading experience. Supervising experience that includes hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of associates.
