Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Sunday–Saturday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Work 3x12-hour day shifts per week, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
• Float to like units or lower-acuity units across multiple campuses within the health system as needed, excluding the Emergency Department
• Accurately document patient assessments and care using EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an ICU environment

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license in hand at time of submission (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in CVICU or equivalent specialty
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to ICU, SDU, or Telemetry units at or below current skillset
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments and varying patient acuity levels
