Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Psychiatric background preferred Geriatrics preferred Description: Join a dedicated and supportive team within a behavioral health unit. The unit consists of 10 beds with a patient ratio of 3:1. Staff includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, a Recreational Therapist, and a Social Worker. Mechanical lifts and Sara Steady equipment are available for patient care. Documentation is managed through a Meditech Expanse system. The unit follows a 12-hour shift schedule with both day and night options. Occasional floating may be required as a helper role. The department has a strong emphasis on patient experience. Multiple staff members have over 5 years of tenure and psychiatric experience. A Recreational Therapist and Social Worker are on staff to assist with daily groups and discharge planning. The unit is known for its family-oriented atmosphere and support for staff.
