The Driller Assistant is responsible for assisting the Driller with soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, classifications, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installation. What you’ll do: Assist Driller to load / unload augers and assemble / disassemble augers Prepare tooling and supplies for the day’s tasks Assist with the location of boring locations Retrieve and log samples Clean / maintain equipment and perform site clean up This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
