The Role We're seeking compassionate, reliable Caregivers with a passion for making a difference. As a Caregiver, you're the face of our business — providing hands-on assistance, companionship, and dignity to clients who need help with daily life. What You'll Do Assist clients with activities of daily living — personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility Provide companionship and genuine emotional support Help with light housekeeping — meal prep, laundry, and tidying up Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings Monitor and report changes in a client's health or behavior Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment Follow each client's care plan and document visits accurately What You Bring A compassionate, empathetic attitude — reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to follow care plans and instructions Physical ability to assist with mobility and light household tasks TB test within the last 6 months Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (when required) Ability to pass a background check (we use Guardian) and drug screening Commitment to client confidentiality, HIPAA, and our privacy policies California Home Care Aide registration — or willingness to register (we'll guide you) Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required — we train Benefits & Support Competitive pay — $21 - $23/hour Weekly pay Flexible scheduling that works around your life Paid training and ongoing support Paid sick leave (per California law) 401(k) through Principal Financial Group with employer match — we match $0.20 of every $1.00 for the first 6% you contribute (eligible at age 21 with one year and 1,000+ hours) Tuition reimbursement — $1,000 per term, up to $2,000/year (for caregivers with 6+ months and 30+ hours/week) Access to medical, dental, vision, and more through Benefits in a Card (BIC) — enroll within 30 days of hire Genuinely rewarding work with a real impact in your community For questions, reach out to us at View email address on click.appcast.io CareBuilders at Home of Contra Costa is an equal opportunity employer.
