Accounts Receivable Coordinator

My client a global entertainment company is hiring for a Cash Application Specialist to join their team in Nashville, TN. This starts out as a 9-month contract fully onsite opportunity.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Cash Applications who is looking to gain experience within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Contract: 9-months
Location: Nashville, TN
Pay: 23/hr. on a W2
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and apply incoming payments, including checks, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.
- Reconcile customer payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with collections and treasury teams to ensure accurate cash application.
- Prepare daily cash reports and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Support accounts receivable adjustments, audits, and special projects.
Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Cash Applications.
- Experience processing checks, wire transfers, and payment remittances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
