About the Role:
Roberts Salon in Belmont, MA is looking for an experienced Hairdresser to join their talented team! If you're passionate about hair, love making clients look and feel their best, and thrive in a creative salon environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to a diverse clientele
- Perform consultations to understand client needs and recommend appropriate treatments
- Execute highlights, balayage, color corrections, and other advanced color techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming station and work environment
- Build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service and follow-up
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Collaborate with salon team members to ensure a positive client experience
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Cosmetology License required
- Proven experience as a professional Hairdresser or Cosmetologist
- Proficiency in cutting, coloring, and styling techniques for all hair types
- Strong knowledge of current hair trends and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented professional demeanor
