Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.Opportunity for candidates experienced in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines interested in putting their skills to work as an Electrical Engineer.Position spans the technology development life-cycle, including requirements generation, system design and implementation, hardware procurement, integration, test, and installation across lab facilities and at-sea platforms.Responsibilities include research, selection, test, and integration of electronic components and equipment in a military environment. Candidate will analyze, define and design mainly COTS equipment for new or existing systems or subsystems. Additional responsibilities include drawing creation, troubleshooting issues, test planning; test development; and test execution.Specific responsibilities may include:1. Specification, analysis, and selection of COTS, ROTS, NDI and / or custom components2. Requirements review3. Cable Design for rack/stack system4. Interconnect Diagrams and Cable Run Sheets5. Test Procedure Development and Execution6. System Verification and Validation7. Support of limited Environmental Test and Analysis8.
