House Keeper

Job Overview:The Resort Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall comfort of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming, clean, and relaxing environment for all guests.Reports to: Event Center ManagerKey Responsibilitieso Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and balconies/patios according to resort standardso Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenitieso Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all assigned areaso Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, restrooms, event center & cook shack area.o Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management promptlyo Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found itemso Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelineso Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply inventoryo Provide friendly, professional, and discreet guest interactiono Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standardsQualificationso Previous housekeeping or hotel/resort cleaning experience preferredo Strong attention to detail and time management skillso Ability to work independently and as part of a teamo Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periodso Ability to lift up to 40 poundso Professional appearance and positive attitudeo Flexible schedule including weekends and holidayso Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures preferredWork Environment & Physical Requirementso This position requires long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
