Travel Neonatal ICU (NICU) Registered Nurse in Brockton, MA

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license
• Recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Proficient in neonatal resuscitation and responding effectively in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, family-focused care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care for critically ill neonates, monitoring vital signs and assessing for changes in condition
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments in accordance with protocols and physician orders
• Operate life-support equipment and assist with procedures such as intubation and central line placement
• Support and educate families during their NICU stay, promoting bonding and involvement in care
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interventions and responses
• Adhere to evidence-based practices, safety protocols, and infection control standards
