Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and inventory operations for a collaborative team in Meridian, Idaho. This Contract position is ideal for someone who combines strong procurement judgment with careful inventory control, invoice accuracy, and responsive cross-functional support. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can work onsite, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, and help keep materials, records, and purchasing activity organized and on schedule.Responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities by creating, reviewing, and processing purchase orders in alignment with business needs.• Monitor inventory levels, track incoming materials, and help maintain accurate stock records to support operational continuity.• Receive goods and verify order details against shipments, resolving discrepancies with vendors or internal teams when needed.• Prepare and process invoices with close attention to accuracy, coding, and supporting documentation.• Partner with onsite colleagues to understand material requirements, clarify requests, and ensure timely procurement support.• Use NetSuite to maintain purchasing data, update inventory information, and document procurement transactions.• Assist with vendor coordination and buying activities to help secure products and services that meet cost, quality, and timing expectations.• Support procurement and related accounting processes by identifying issues early and maintaining organized records for review.
