Maintenance assistant

A manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the plant equipment operations. This shop-floor position focuses on processing machinery work orders, tracking spare parts inventory, and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules for our production lines. salary: $48,000 - $50,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Input and process equipment work orders within the plant computerized maintenance management system.
• Log spare parts usage, monitor machinery inventory levels, and process parts requests for shop floor mechanics.
• Update and track preventative maintenance schedules for production line equipment.
• Maintain technical documentation, machine manuals, and safety data sheets for manufacturing compliance.
• Compile daily equipment downtime data and assist floor supervisors with plant operational reports.
