AVIONICS AND HARNESS TECHNICIAN SENIOR
Summary:
Fabricate harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures for spacecraft and ground systems. Perform assembly and integration operations to precise tolerances requiring interpretation and application of experience to determine the most appropriate method to meet engineering requirements and specifications.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fabricate harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems
- Build and terminate high quality wiring harnesses for racks and boxes
- Assemble wire harnesses per J‐STD‐001 space, NASA.STD.8739.4A
- Use hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
- Use wire harnesses with equipment such as high potential testers, multimeters, force gauges
- Read schematics, harness wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, circuit layouts, and parts lists
- Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications
- Use computer applications for work documentation
- Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair
- Meets necessary certification as required
- Performs incidental related duties as assigned or required

- 1st Shift - $29.42 – $47.09
- B Shift - $22.58/hr - $33.33/hr
