QE Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) – pls focus on local profiles
Job Description
- Automation Framework Development: Creating and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency.
- Test Automation Coding: Writing robust code to perform functional, non-functional, and integration testing, often using languages like Java, Python, or C#.
- Collaboration: Working with developers and product managers to analyze requirements and define test strategies.
- CI/CD Integration: Embedding automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) for rapid, reliable releases.
- Quality Assurance: Identifying, logging, and troubleshooting bugs, and performing root cause analysis of failures.
- Mentorship: Guiding junior QA team members in automation best practices.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, C#).
- Testing Tools: Experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, REST Assured, or Appium.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of SQL, databases, API testing, and backend services.
- DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
