Warehouse Receiving Associate

Key Responsibilities

1. Unload incoming shipments using a forklift or a skid steer
2. Inspect incoming shipments and notify supervisor or receiving clerk of any quality concerns
3. Notify supervisor or clerk to contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
4. Label deliveries, scan items into stock, and place them in their designated place
5. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
6. Perform regular housekeeping duties in the warehouse and keep things organized
7. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
8. Support and demonstrate Blue Diamond Core Values: Integrity, Commitment, Compassion, Growth, and Positivity.
9. All other duties as assigned. Cross training for other areas is expected.

Qualifications

• One (1) to three (3) years of progressive and relevant work experience in receiving. Warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic Math and recording abilities
• Forklift training and certification or ability to obtain certification required;
• Experience operating skid steers is helpful, particularly with quick-changing attachments
