Title: Construction Superintendent - DOB Licensed (NYC Department of Buildings)Location: New York, NY 10018Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 + BonusFounded in the late 1980s, we are a New York City based construction and development firm with approximately 100 employees across project management, field supervision, and skilled trades. We specialize in ground up construction, interior buildouts, structural upgrades, and complex renovations for commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, healthcare, and educational clients. Our work requires strict compliance with NYC Department of Buildings regulations, safety standards, and licensed supervision.The Superintendent is responsible for day to day field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires an active NYC DOB Construction Superintendent License and proven experience managing NYC commercial building projects.What You Will Be DoingOversee daily field operations and enforce compliance with NYC DOB, OSHA, FDNY, and ICRA standardsDevelop and maintain project schedules, issue Two Week Look Ahead updates, and hold subcontractors accountableSupervise subcontractors and field personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are metConduct regular site inspections, manage logistics and maintain accurate DOB documentationCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues and keep projects on trackWhat You Need for This PositionActive NYC DOB Construction Superintendent License (required)5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on NYC commercial building projects (interiors, ground up, structural upgrades)Strong knowledge of NYC construction regulations, DOB requirements, and jobsite safety standardsOSHA 30 and SST certifications; FDNY safety certifications preferredExcellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills with proven ability to manage multiple trades.What's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!IF interested can you provide an updated resume & salary requirements to View email address on click.appcast.io
