Phlebotomist-Hospital 2nd shift

Phlebotomist Position at Mobile Infirmary Hospital LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, AL. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm and rotating Saturdays Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation required Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
