ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Manager for Scot Shaw Ins Agency, Inc, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. Scot Shaw Ins Agency, Inc. is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Account Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from our Fort Smith office.

The ideal candidate is comfortable having needs-based conversations , building trusted customer relationships, and proactively identifying opportunities to help both prospective and existing customers with their insurance needs. This is a sales-focused role that requires initiative, consistent follow-up, and a willingness to continually build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct needs-based conversations to understand customers' circumstances, goals, and insurance needs. 
• Continually prospect for new business and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers. 
• Follow up consistently with leads, prospects, and open opportunities. 
• Quote and present appropriate insurance solutions based on customer needs. 
• Develop new customer relationships and convert opportunities into new business. 
• Proactively work with our existing customer base to deepen relationships and identify additional insurance needs. 
• Identify opportunities to increase multi-line households and improve customer retention. 
• Provide a professional, responsive, and relationship-focused customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
• Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
• Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
• Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
• P & C license & life/health insurance is preferred, but not required
