About The Role Barry Callebaut is a global organization poised for growth. The Human Resources Manager will lead the HR function at the Eddystone, PA Cocoa facility as part of the local management team, partnering with leadership to design and implement HR and operational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide mentorship and support for plant operations. Serve as functional resource for the employee base, ensuring understanding and compliance with benefits, HR policies, and regulations. Drive employee engagement action planning and retention initiatives; maintain HRIS and filing systems. Manage timecard and paid time off approval processes and administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA. Conduct recruitment and staffing activities (for exempt and non‑exempt staff), manage postings, evaluate applicants, and perform pre‑employment screening. Support various audit processes and perform special projects such as policy implementation, training programs, and employee engagement committees. Serve as budget holder for training and agency invoicing and sponsor safety programs with the ES&H manager. Lead the rollout and completion of performance management processes, educate employees and managers on goal setting and reviews. Educate employees on health and wellness policies and resolve employee issues, working with managers to improve engagement, retention, and performance. Identify and implement training solutions for all departments and lead investigations, providing mentorship on disciplinary recommendations. Utilize results from engagement surveys to build action plans and increase internal employee happiness. Support managers in providing continuous performance feedback and lead local employee relation initiatives aligned with business goals. About You BA/BS in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent HR experience. Certification: SHRM‑CP or PHR preferred. Familiarity with BCOS (IWS/TPM/Lean manufacturing systems) is a strong asset. Other Qualifications Ability to pivot focus effectively in response to business needs. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and customer‑service skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Knowledge of federal and state employment and labor law. Proficient in MS Office. Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information. Strong leadership, influence, and conflict‑management abilities. Self‑motivated, action‑oriented, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize and follow up.
