Exciting Opportunity for Endoscopy RN!

Job Description:

* Are you a passionate and skilled RN looking to make a difference in the world of Digestive Health?
* Join our dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a vibrant endoscopy setting.

Key Details:

* Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours each day
* Start Date: ASAP
* Weekend Requirement: Yes, on-call duty required
* On Call Requirement: 2 weekend call shifts per month and 1 call night per week
* Floating Requirement: Opportunities to float to other departments within Surgical Services

Responsibilities:

* Lead and inspire yourself and others, embodying the values of OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
* Deliver nursing care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
* Address diverse psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
* Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
* Maintain thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
* Educate patients, family members, and caregivers by assessing learning needs and identifying issues and resources.

Requirements:

* Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* Experience: 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
* BLS via AHA required
* ACLS via AHA required
* RN License in the state of employment or compact
