Mackie Myers is partnering with a growing consumer products brand to identify an analytical and detail-oriented Merchandise Planner ready to take on meaningful ownership across planning, forecasting, and inventory management for direct-to-consumer channels. Reporting to the Director of Planning, the Merchandise Planner will serve as a key partner to the E-commerce and Marketing teams, driving smart inventory decisions and delivering the data-driven insights that keep a fast-moving digital business ahead of the cur Lead the monthly forecast and budget process for the DTC channel, aligning financial targets with digital merchandise strat egiesDevelop and manage seasonal merchandise plans to support sales and gross margin goals across e-commerce and retail loca tionsOwn open-to-buy (OTB) planning for DTC, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending strategies to optimize stock l evelsOversee in-season inventory flow and replenishment, ensuring high-demand styles are in stock to maximize sales and improve turnsCreate weekly performance reports tracking e-commerce sales, conversion impacts on inventory, and performance by style, color, and classific ationCompile hindsight analyses and apply customer behavior insights to improve future plans, site assortments, and promotion strat egiesMonitor site-level performance and recommend pricing or promotional actions to address aging or excess inve ntoryPartner with Digital Marketing and Merchandising to align on product launches, site features, and seasonal dropsBuild and maintain planning tools, dashboards, and ad hoc reports to support evolving digital business 5+ years of experience in planning, merchandising, or inventory management with a specific focus on DTC, e-commerce, or vertical Proven expertise in open-to-buy management, seasonal planning, and e-commerce fo recastingStrong command of retail math and key KPIs (sell-through, stock-to-sales, margi n, turns)Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or planning platforms a st rong plusHighly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial en vironmentStrong communicator comfortable presenting to internal sta #J-18808-Ljbffr
