Location: Lancaster, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Overtime: May be required based on production needs

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Pallet Sorter to support warehouse operations by inspecting, sorting, stacking, and handling pallets. This hands-on position involves grading pallets based on quality standards, removing debris, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining production efficiency.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and hand-sort pallets according to established grading and quality standards.

• Stack pallets to designated heights and ensure loads are properly secured.

• Manually load and unload pallets and materials from trailers.

• Move, organize, and position pallets throughout the warehouse facility.

• Remove trash, debris, and damaged materials from work areas.

• Verify pallet quality and identify damaged or nonconforming products.

• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.

• Meet established productivity, efficiency, and quality expectations.

• Communicate operational concerns and updates to the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Experience

• No specific prior experience requirement provided.

• Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial but not required.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience in pallet sorting, pallet recycling, or pallet inspection.

• Experience with manual material handling, trailer loading, and unloading.

• Experience working in production-driven warehouse or distribution environments.

Required Skills

1. Pallet Sorting & Manual Material Handling: Ability to inspect, sort, stack, lift, and move pallets while following established quality and safety procedures.

2. Attention to Detail & Quality Inspection: Ability to identify damaged pallets, follow sorting instructions, verify load security, and maintain accurate production records.

3. Basic Math, Reading & Communication: Ability to perform basic calculations, read instructions, complete paperwork, use basic computer systems, and communicate effectively with supervisors.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing up to 50–75 pounds, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, turn, and pivot throughout the shift.

• Good balance, coordination, and hand-eye-foot coordination.

• Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions, including heat, cold, and dusty environments.

• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection when applicable.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime when required.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

• Ability to maintain consistent production and quality standards.
