We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator in Las Vegas to support our Human Resources operations by delivering exceptional customer service to both internal team members and external candidates. This full-time, on-site HR role in Vegas is hiring immediately and plays a critical role in managing the employee onboarding lifecycle, HR administrative processes, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure a seamless hiring experience by coordinating new hire processing, conducting background checks, and maintaining accurate employee records in HR systems such as Kronos and Image Quest. What Will You Be Doing? Review and process employment applications (paper and online) daily; route qualified candidates to TMS/HR Generalists Support full-cycle employee onboarding, including background checks, E-Verify, drug screening, and onboarding paperwork Perform timekeeping functions using Kronos for assigned departments Conduct employment reference checks and verify rehire eligibility Serve as primary HR customer service contact for walk-ins, candidates, and team members Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and ensure completion of required documentation Process employee updates including name changes, direct deposit, benefits enrollment, and lifestyle changes Maintain compliance with federal regulations by auditing and managing Form I-9 documentation Manage personnel file transfers for team members moving between locations Scan and upload documents into Image Quest, ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping Ensure same-day scanning and documentation processing Prepare materials for job fairs and recruiting events Administer pre-employment skills testing Process and code employment-related invoices for approval Coordinate conference room scheduling, vendor visits, and internal postings (including closed-circuit TV communications) Maintain inventory of HR forms and supplies Assist with special projects and HR administrative tasks as assigned Experience & Qualifications Experience: 3–6 months of HR, administrative, customer service, or onboarding support experience preferred Education: Certificate from a college/technical school OR equivalent combination of education and experience Technical Skills: Experience with HRIS systems (Kronos preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Experience with document management systems such as Image Quest preferred Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential HR information Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset Why Westgate?
