With our headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan, and an established branch in Grand Rapids, we opened our Indianapolis location in early 2026 as part of a national growth plan. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build out a new branch and grow with the team as it scales.

About the Role

We are hiring a hybrid CDL-A Driver / Warehouse Associate for our Indianapolis branch. When you are on the road, you will safely deliver natural stone and quartz slabs to fabricators, job sites, and customers throughout the Indianapolis market and surrounding region. When you are in the warehouse, you will keep operations moving receiving inbound shipments, staging and pulling orders, and keeping inventory organized and ready to ship.

Our slabs are heavy, oversized, and high-value, so safe handling and professional conduct matter on every delivery. You will be a visible representative of Dwyer at each stop and a key part of a small, growing branch team.

What You'll Do

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload natural stone, quartz, and porcelain slabs using the company vehicle and slab-handling equipment (A-frames, clamps, forklift)
• Complete DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain required logs, and operate in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Deliver to fabricators, job sites, and customers professionally and on schedule
• Support warehouse operations between routes receiving, staging, order pulling, inventory organization, and general upkeep
• Operate a forklift to move and stage slab bundles and material
• Handle fragile, high-value product with care to prevent damage and loss
• Communicate clearly with the branch manager, warehouse team, and customers

What You Bring

• Valid CDL-A with a clean motor vehicle record and a current DOT medical card
• Commercial driving experience (slab, building-material, or flatbed delivery a strong plus)
• Forklift experience, or willingness to become certified
• Comfort safely handling heavy, oversized, and fragile materials
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy material and stay active throughout the shift
• A reliable, safety-minded, and customer-focused approach
• Prior experience with stone, slabs, or building materials is a plus, but not required
