Registered Nurse Contract PICU

Provide critical care to pediatric patients in a 13-week assignment in Huntersville, North Carolina. Earn up to $3,100 per week with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality pediatric ICU nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and compliance with protocols.
• Administer medications, perform invasive procedures, and manage ventilators, specialty equipment, and monitors using advanced technology such as EPIC, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Artic Sun.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions continuously, utilizing bedside and centralized monitoring systems, and document findings accurately within the EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain flexibility by floating to Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, or general Pediatrics units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care across departments.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing degree (ASN, BSN, or higher).
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Valid North Carolina RN license or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric ICU experience.
• Ability to float to Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, and general Pediatrics units.
• Physical stamina.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player attitude.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel experience preferred.
