HR Benefits Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a nonprofit organization located in Worcester, MA seeking an HR Benefits Specialist to join their team. About the Opportunity with the Organization: Focused on helping people experiencing homelessness, this nonprofit has assisted almost 100,000 people transition into housing Founded over 30 years ago in Massachusetts, they now have operations in all six New England States and locations in the Midwest They offer a variety of services including transitional care, long-term programs, and employment training Responsibilities Expected of the HR Benefits Specialist: Manage benefits administration includes enrollment, status changes, and terminations for health insurance and other benefits Coordinate with benefit vendors Answer employee questions and act as point of contact for questions on benefits or leave of absence Administer leaves including preparation and return-to-work processing Ensure federal, state, and local compliance for benefits in several US states Background Expected of the HR Benefits Specialist: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or experience equivalent (+4 years of experience) 3+ years of experience in an HR role which includes LOA/benefits administration Experience in a nonprofit organization is a plus Salary Range: $60,000 – 70,000 depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
