2nd Shift Forklift OperatorLifting the world up, one pallet at a time!What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly PayAnd More!2nd Shift Forklift Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredSecond ShiftPopular Clothing Merchandiser is seeking Forklift Operators-Order Fulfillment Associates for their busy facility in Lynchburg.Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday as early as 11am and as late as 9pm depending on your department scheduleSome weekends will be required as needed Associate earns an extra $1.00 per hour for weekend hours - THAT'S $18/hr FOR WEEKEND SHIFTS2nd Shift Forklift Operator Qualifications:Drives sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and other industrial vehicles such as cherry-pickers and automated pallet jacks as needed.Maintains clean work area.Pallet building and pallet picks.Loads goods onto conveyer belts.Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other material.Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods.Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked.Determines when repairs need to be made on equipment.Rotates stock so that oldest items are shipped or sold first.Loads and unloads product from and onto tractor trailers, rail cars, and cargo ships.Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages.Entry Level-No warehouse picking, packing experience is required. (Training will be provided)Able to lift, bend, stand, stoop, and squatNo HS Diploma is neededLift up to 25-50lbs repetitivelyAbility to read labels Reliable and has a great attendance recordApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
