Service Technician

Location/Territory: Montgomery County, MD | Northern Virginia | Washington, DC

Pay: 24.00/hour + Company Vehicle

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our field service team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining beverage dispensing equipment throughout the assigned territory.

A company vehicle, tools, uniforms, gas card, cell phone, and tablet are provided.

• Respond to dispatched service calls and maintain scheduled service appointments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on beverage dispensing and refrigeration equipment.
• Install and commission new equipment at customer locations.
• Inspect equipment performance and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Replace syrup flavors, clean equipment, and maintain proper machine operation.
• Maintain inventory of service parts, tools, and supplies.
• Document all service activities, repairs, and parts usage using company systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment status and service recommendations.
• Identify customer concerns and relay opportunities for additional products or services.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, organizing inventory, and equipment preparation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Technician , Maintenance Technician, or similar field service role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, and basic refrigeration principles.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Trade school or technical training in HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, or a related field.
• EPA Certification or HVAC experience preferred.
• Experience servicing beverage, refrigeration, food service, vending, or dispensing equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency for service documentation.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle throughout the service territory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McLean, VA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in McLean,VA.
