Estimator - Commercial Construction

One of Montana's leading gneral contractors is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Jackson area team. This role will focus on delivering accurate, competitive bids across a variety of commercial projects, including healthcare and other complex builds.


This is an opportunity to work with a respected team known for quality execution and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from conceptual design through final bid
  
  
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare quantity takeoffs
  
  
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
  
  
• Develop scope sheets and level bid comparisons
  
  
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during preconstruction
  
  
• Identify value engineering opportunities
  
  
• Support proposal development and client presentations as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
  
  
• Experience with healthcare or technically complex projects preferred
  
  
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local subcontractor market
  
  
• Ability to interpret plans, specs, and contract documents
  
  
• Proficiency in estimating software and takeoff tools
  
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
