Supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by executing core responsibilities, focused on acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty and by wearing a body worn camera. Supports a positive customer shopping experience in the store and maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and loss prevention. Exercises sound judgment in decision-making to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and the protection of the Company brand. Adheres to Company policies and maintains and supports Company culture and values.

1. Maintains a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store
2. Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
3. Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide
4. Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera
5. Greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect
6. Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department
7. Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio
8. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management
9. Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management
10. Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure
11. Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management
12. Performs other duties as assigned

Please note that this is a full-time position, and we are seeking candidates with open availability, including weekends.

This role will support two locations:

• Home Store: Norman, OK
• Secondary Store: Midwest City, OK

In practice, this means your weekly schedule may be split between both locations, for example, 4 days at Norman and 2 days at Midwest HomeGoods stores.

• Prioritizes/organizes workload and manages time effectively
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• 0-2 years retail or security experience

This position has a starting pay range of $15.25 to $18.60 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
